Before founding Story Of Your Day, I spent more than twenty years as a BBC Pioneer Video Journalist, learning how to uncover the stories that matter most.

Many couples choose to share their experience with a small group of the people who matter most. Parents, siblings, children or a handful of close friends can all be part of your day whilst still preserving the intimacy, flexibility and personal nature of an elopement.
I often refer to these as micro weddings.
I define a ‚micro wedding‘ as a celebration typically involves up to around 15 guests, although it retains the same experience-led approach as an elopement. The focus remains on connection, meaningful experiences and creating a day that feels true to you, rather than following the structure of a traditional wedding.
