She wasn’t always Emma Wilson of Story Of Your Day. For twenty years she was Emma Massey, BBC Reporter, Newsreader and Pioneer VJ. Her career began in London on Watchdog and BBC Breakfast News before going regional, where she became a newsreader and one of the BBC’s first Pioneer Video Journalists. As the main consumer reporter on CBBC Shortchange, a BAFTA-winning programme, she was in front of the camera long before she stepped behind it.
Filming, reporting and editing her own stories was second nature long before wedding filmmaking existed as a profession. That discipline never left.
FROM THE NEWSROOM TO THE WORLD
Today, Emma films weddings all over the world. Her work has been featured in Tatler and the Wall Street Journal. Rangefinder magazine named her one of just three women shaping the future of filmmaking globally, and the only one in Europe.
A sought-after speaker in the wedding industry, Emma has presented at RSVP and founded Evolve Videography Training to mentor the next generation of female filmmakers.

KEEPING IT REAL – WEDDINGS FILMS ‘AT HOME’
As well as filming at castles, halls and estates up and down the country, I also love filming weddings when my client has chosen to have their wedding either at home or at a family or friend’s home. As a storyteller I am always looking at what makes each of these special weddings unique.
The most important thing for me, is to stay authentic and reflect the day as it was. Even if it rains! And especially when there happens to be a pop star making a guest appearance…(takes it all in her stride!)

Suffolk & the Home Counties
Hengrave Hall in Suffolk is one of our favourite venues in the country, not least because it has its own church in the grounds. Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire brings Italian grandeur to the English countryside.
LONDON
Kenwood House allows only a handful of weddings each year. We are proud to be their preferred videographer. The Corinthia Hotel, steps from Trafalgar Square, is one of London’s finest.
YORKSHIRE
Goldsborough Hall, Grantley Hall and Newby Hall & Gardens are three of our most filmed venues in the north. Swinton Estate is perfectly suited to high-end celebrations.
