Here at Story Of Your Day, we are passionate and experienced same-sex LGBTQ+ wedding videographers and thrilled that couples like you, who have been waiting years and years for same-sex marriage legislation to be passed, can now fulfil your dreams and put all your long-awaited plans into action.

It may sound cliché, but your wedding day, whether you’re planning an elopement, intimate wedding or lavish affair, will fly by what feels like an instant and the biggest ‘fail’ (an admission from those who made the mistake) is not having a videographer to capture all those beautiful moments and memories.

So what can I bring, as your filmmaker, to your LGBTQ+ wedding?

I believe that everyone is equal and that Love is Love … obviously. I celebrated the changing laws throughout the world with my brother, who is gay, and many of my LGBTQ+ friends and I embrace this change in attitude that brings equality and happiness to all humans.

In essence …

I have no filters or prejudices – because I care about equality and that we all have the same choices.

I am passionate about capturing the connection, honesty, authenticity and emotion between two people in love and telling their beautiful story. So when I film gay weddings – Nothing changes in my philosophy and style and if you love my work, then it shouldn’t matter who you’re marrying because my films are driven by you and the story you want to share.

I am proud and honoured when I am given the opportunity to film same sex LGBTQ+ weddings, elopements and celebrations of love.

I don’t just make wedding films. I tell stories about people, places and love — and they just so happen to be getting married …

Working as a journalist and filmmaker at the BBC for over twenty years has taught me a really powerful lesson – no two stories are the same. I draw on that knowledge and experience to ensure that each and every one of my clients has a wedding film unlike any other.

There’s something quite amazing about experiencing and feeling a story and then retelling it in a unique film that brings the story back to life. As my clients, you also share the same ethos and passion.
