Meet Emma Wilson
Italian Wedding Videographer
Emma Wilson is a Pioneer BBC Video Journalist and one of Europe’s most sought-after destination wedding filmmakers. As a Swiss resident, she is a short drive or train ride from northern Italy and a quick flight to the south.
She holds an EU drone licence and is fully permitted to film throughout Europe. No logistical complications. Just great filmmaking.
She has filmed weddings at some of Italy’s most iconic venues, from Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como to the Amalfi coast, and brings the same storytelling ethos to every single one.

Where to Wed in Italy
There is nowhere quite like Italy for a destination wedding. Here is where I would point you.
The Lakes
Lake Como is the jewel. Villa del Balbianello is world-famous for good reason. The Mandarin Oriental offers something quieter and more private. Lake Maggiore, skirting the Swiss border, is an easy journey from my base in Wengen.
The Coast
Sorrento and Positano on the Amalfi coast are two of the most sought-after locations I film. Villa Antiche Mura in Sorrento is one of my favourite reception venues in Italy. The ceremony space at The Cloisters is simply stunning.
The City
Venice stands apart. The San Clemente Palace Kempinski sits on its own private island and there is nowhere in the world quite like it. St Mark’s Basilica, the Rialto Bridge – Venice does not need embellishing.
