Emma Wilson is a Pioneer BBC Video Journalist and one of Europe’s most sought-after destination wedding filmmakers.
Based in Wengen, Switzerland, France is a neighbouring country she knows well. She drives to many of her French weddings.
She holds an EU drone licence and is fully permitted to film throughout Europe. France is practically on her doorstep.
Her approach is cinematic storytelling. She doesn’t stage moments or follow trends. She finds the story in what is already there and builds a film around it.

Where to wed in France
France has options for every vision. Here is where I would point you.
The Châteaux
Château de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley and Château Challain are among the finest I have filmed at. For something more intimate, Château Rigaud in Bordeaux and Château du Puits es Pratx in the south are excellent choices.
The Riviera
The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat and Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez are two of my favourite locations on the Côte d’Azur.
Paris
The Ritz Paris, the Palais Garnier, the Mandarin Oriental. Paris does not need embellishing.
