Austria is a country with so many options when it comes to finding your perfect destination wedding location.
As a wedding videographer and as Creative Director at Story Of Your Day, what I love about Austria is that the destinations are so diverse and that gives you so much choice.
Mountain Adventures
Next year I’ll be filming an amazing elopement in The Dolomites and that’s just about as remote as it gets, so perfect for adventure weddings as well as intimate elopements. You also can’t ignore the Austrian Alps if you’re into adventure and fun and I highly recommend the venue of Gerry-Rae and Nick’s wedding. They were married in the Rathaus in Zell Am Zee and then skied to their reception venue The AreitLounge.
Spectacular city venues
For a completely different perspective, Austria has the most amazing cities and stunning wedding film locations … Vienna and Salzberg being my favourite. In Vienna, there are the stunning venues like Palais Schönburg, Schloss Belvedere and of course if you’re looking for something really spectacular then Hofburg Palace, as featured above.
