Shahad and Abdullah live in Saudia Arabia but travelled to Switzerland for a wonderful wedding at the amazing Fairmont Le Montreux Palace hotel.
Montreux is known as the ‘Pearl of the Swiss Riviera’ and this luxurious Swiss wedding venue, located on the shores of Lake Geneva, offers magnificent views of the lake and the Alps.
Shahad explains their choice: “We love Switzerland and Montreux is beautiful. My fiancé and his family go there every summer while I’ve never been. They know their way quite well there and have explained Swiss nature’s beauty many times. However, nothing of their explanation justified enough how truly beautiful it is.”
The stunning couple met in London at the Hilton Park Lane and, although they describe themselves as ‘not the usual lovey dovey couple’, they know how to have fun and always making each other laugh.
Shahad tells us: “My mom and his mom are friends – we had a dinner date with them and took it from there. I didn’t really know him and was surprised to see him with us on the flight back home. We spent six hours talking, laughing, playing games. We immediately felt comfortable with each other. I got his back and he’s got mine. He gets me and I get him and in the end I think that’s what’s important.”

And, we were delighted to film the lovely couple at such a stunning location not far from our studio in Switzerland.
