Never has a wedding venue like Sorrento’s Villa Antiche Mura suited a couple more.
Abigayle and Callum love Italy and their favourite pastime is sitting together in the sunshine, drinking wine and eating antipasto, while admiring the world around them.
Fronting the sea, in an wonderful clifftop location, Villa Antiche Mura has amazing views of the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. With beautiful secluded grounds, private dining and entertaining spaces, it’s such a relaxing place.
As Abigayle explains: “We knew we wanted to get married looking out over the sea, while standing in the sunshine and Villa Antiche Mura had it all. The Amalfi Coast is definitely the most romantic and beautiful place we have ever been to and we couldn’t think of anywhere else in the world where we would want to be married.”
In fact, the region is even where the couple got engaged. On a trip to the Amalfi coast in 2018, their first stop was Positano where they enjoyed a private sunset cruise that evening. They headed out to the middle of the sea and began watching the sunset and sipping champagne, while the driver of the boat played the accordion for them..
As they made there way back in to the bay of Positano surrounded by hundreds of beautiful lights, the boat stopped and Callum got down on one knee…. and the rest is history.
Abigayle and Callum love living their lives to the fullest and not taking a moment for granted. Laughing their way through life.
They chose Story Of Your Day as their videographer as they liked the slow movement of the camera and the artistic way which Emma films – focussing on small moment, noises and details which can often be missed.
“From the use of natural lighting to the production of your films, we wanted that to be how we remembered our day,” said Abigayle.
