A Christmas wedding in a stunning country estate

by | Mar 23, 2020

Masham, near Ripon in North Yorkshire, is a wedding venue to die for.

Its location, buildings full of interesting history and its gorgeous grounds were all reasons why Daniella and Sean chose Swinton Park for their December wedding. That and it’s such a magical venue at Christmas, too.

We enjoyed such a lovely winter’s day – clear skies, chilly but beautiful – when Daniella and Sean tied the knot.

An Essex boy with a Northern girl…the lovely couple got together in 2017. Their first date was set as a Bruno Mars concert at the O2 Arena, but by chance they first met on a zebra crossing on the intersection for London Wall and Old Broad Street.

They were crossing the road on route to their meeting place and met in the middle of the road!

Loyalty, respect, patience and understanding are important values to Daniella and Sean, and they love laughing together, eating out, exploring new places and enjoying holidays together.

Their sense of fun and laughter was evident throughout their wedding day. There was fantastic entertainment from the close up magician Mark Waddington. He always captivates the guests with his amazing tricks and I always try to film his secrets but he’s obviously just MAGIC!

Plus, there were amazing scenes from the singing waiters! They were just gold – the best I’ve ever filmed and seen. They even did an encore and had everyone up in their seats.

Daniella and Sean’s first dance was to Florence and the Machine’s You Got the Love – performed by the band and leading into its first set – and cue lots of dancing among the guests.

Their ethos that the key focus would be on everyone having a really good time – love, family, friends are all that matters – certainly rang true at this gorgeous wedding.
