A Stunning Dijon Cathedral Wedding With a Château Twist

by | Sep 29, 2018

Alice and Quentin met in New York before Quentin had to return to France. From there, they began their long distance relationship journey which lasted for four years – splitting time between New York, San Francisco and France.

Their wonderful wedding day, in the historical Burgundy region of eastern France, was a celebration of those years of hard work – being each other’s partner/best friend with support from their friends & family – and the sheer joy and happiness of finally ending up in the same location together.

Alice and Quentin’s wedding ceremony took place at the magnificent Dijon Cathedral – an early 14th-century Gothic church known for its tall columns and spires.

From there, the couple and their guests travelled 30 minutes to the impressive Château de Thenissey, surrounded by a moat, and with a grand ballroom inspired by Italian architecture.

The pair loved the aesthetic of Château de Thenissey with its classic and traditional style – and who can blame them?

Alice and Quentin explain why they chose Story Of Your Day to film their wedding: “We loved your portfolio and background as a journalist. We really wanted something more personal and intimate than just a video with beautiful imagery and audio.”

“At the end of the day, the video is something special for us to look back on in years to come. Your emphasis on telling a couple’s story and capturing the important moments beautifully is why we chose you as our wedding videographer.”
